WATESOL & ATES: TESOL PARTNERS
In March 2003, WATESOL formally signed an affiliate partnership agreement with the Association of Teachers of English of Senegal (ATES). TESOL encourages partnerships between affiliates. Through these partnership arrangements, fledgling affiliates can get support and advice from more experienced affiliates. In turn, members of the more experienced affiliates can learn about the challenges of teaching ESOL in a different culture. Partnerships mean exchanging information, newsletters, books, and most important of all hosting guests from the partner affiliate. more.
